Apr 28, 2023I don't like slapstick comedy and I didn't think I'd enjoy this. But the trailer look like an Edgar Wright film so I have it a whirl. The stand out scenes all took place in the police station with the three leads Axel Bøyum, Fredrik Skogsrud and Ingrid Bolsø Berdal. For me this is where the humour was the strongest. Their comic timing was perfect and I can't help but think it would have been a stronger movie had it have been those three stuck in a room during an alien invasion. Ingar Helge Gimle provided nice additional support also. I found the scenes in the woods with the other buddies set the film back a lot. André Sørum did his best with what he had but one can't help but wonder how much better he'd have fared at the police station with the main players. It's a movie I'd watch again. It was light hearted fun and just what the world needs in these dark times 6/10.
