Payback

Acting and direction were on point. Great quirky story line, bit same old same old, but not a bad effort in all. Worth a watch

Pretty fun flick. I liked the action! Always cool to find an action packed indie.

I appreciated this film quite a bit. There's a bit of a low budget feel that gives a true sense of authenticity. I know the story is a bit of a rehash but it works for me. The performances all around are decent and the story moves along well. Thumbs up.

Mike Markovich (Matt Levett ) works for a dubious brokerage firm run by the Ukrainian mafia. He is a natural salesman. He questions about where his client's money went, and then he is sent out to LA. He is set up, but not killed. He spends 6 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. Once out he plots his revenge. Mike was convincing as a broker, not so convincing as a killer. The payback was on the boring side. Unlike the killing Mike never did, Mike's killings never seem to be investigated. Guide: No swearing as I recall. Brief sex. Possible nipple slip.
