Apr 26, 2024I watched the movie and then read the reviews. I am a little surprised by the negative reaction to Luke. I mean he had his moments and did not do everything perfectly, but he was in a new place, dealing with conflict and had a stressful job. He generally rebounded and his interest in both his interests was genuine. A few imperfections or imperfect moments are not a bad thing, but overall he seemed to have good character as a person, so was generally likeable. Claire was almost a little to perfect in many respects, always happy, always looking great, and well liked except by the "villains". My question: After all that time how can the waiter see her one time and recognize her and they spend so much time together and he not? Maybe the looks changed, maybe, but the voice, the general appearance were similar enough that you would think he'd say something like you remind me of this girl?
