I felt, This movie is most accurate version of the Veer Tanaji Malusare. The intricate details, especially, the last war scene are quite good. Unlike the Hindi movie Tanhaji, which has bad graphics and overly exaggerated story line with lots of fictional elements, this movie on the other hand is more realistic . This is the story we have been reading from history book. Since, Ajay Purkar had already played in the masterpiece Pawankhind, and it was a bit odd to accept him as Tanaji for like first 10-20 minutes. First half is a bit stretch. The editing could have been a bit crisp. 9/10 from me.

Excellent Movie - Spellbound and Gripping. The movie, history and attention to detail is very appreciating given the fact Tanhaji in Hindi was too glamours with limited thought to factual history, this movie breaks the barrier. Sply the Tanhaji's make up here is more realistic to that of Ajay Devgan looking more like a bollywood hero. The difference is of dedication and soulful connect with the audiance is prime objective with this movie versus to that of hindi movie. Hindi movie should learn to make movies more realistic and authentic. The music is awesome ...specially the last song of Ale Marathe a vibrant rap song keeps ppl charged.

A great marathi movie of all time i say it gives you goosebumps as well as make you emotional at same time. This movie is actually a patriotic movie that we all as Indians must see in theatres as tributes to the great warriors of our indian soil Marathas. This movie is completely different and too good and with full of research from tanhaji of ajay devgan and om raut i can confidently say that ( subhdear movie >>>>>>> tanhaji movie). Directing by digpal is great,acting by all the crue is too good, music is too good detailed study has been carried out is completely seeing by watching this film, cinematography and animation,art directing all are very good and i don't have any words to describe this movie so please go and watch this as it may be a life changing movie in your life and this movie will be remember for forever in marathi cinema history.
