Apr 10, 2024I love both the actors in this film and I absolutely loved the location, BUT this movie is so poorly written: no drama, no story, no characters, soooo slow! AND, if you really love your ranch and don't want it to be changed, you CAN'T decide to sell it in five minutes to the first one who just SAYS he will keep it like that, when you don't even know him and don't know if he's sincere... seems like she just wanted to get rid of it and of her late husband's memory! Plus, really, no characters thickness: he says that he loves the way she takes care of everyone and she's loved by everyone, but actually the movie doesn't show this at all! And what about giving up "trying to save the ranch", just because a real estate agent offers you to sell the ranch, and in reality the only thing you're trying to do to save it is giving lessons to TWO kids and selling a couple things from the house in a garage sale?! I'll repeat myself: too poor script! I am sorry for this!

Apr 10, 2024I'm not a huge fan of Cindy Busby but she did okay in this one. She seemed very relaxed in her role compared to others she has done. Kevin McGarry always does a great job with his parts and I enjoy anything he is in. It contains beautiful ranch/pastoral scenery. One negative critique would be the choice of using Western saddles when riding English style and directing someone to mount a horse on the right instead of the left. Someone who owns a horse ranch and teaches riding lessons should be much better versed in such matters. This may seem picky but it would be helpful to have a professional equestrian helping to consult on such matters where horses play such a huge role in the story.

Apr 10, 2024A real nice film in which the horses and landscape are the pillars of interest. The charming young guy and his initial interests, the strong widow and her farm, few Holmes and the solution. Romance and a seductive house. Enough for a predictable story, working not bad, good especially for supporting actors and for the drops of humor. The basic virtue - the well job of McGedrick. And the foisor. The not the best part - the absence of chemistry. The actors are each on his iceberg and it seems reasonable that. The twist of plan of Jake is nit just credible but gives the reasonable pink touch to romance. So, decent to nice.

Apr 10, 2024Not sure which was the main attraction here - the character leads or the picturesque setting. Nothing offensive here, but neither was there any humour or excitement.
