Jan 7, 2024Would it have been so hard to find Glaswegian actors to play the leads? The mix of truly dreadful accents made this unbearable to watch for this Glasgow boy!

Jan 7, 2024As with all biopics there are liberties taken but this one seems to rewrite the narrative on the guys whole life. There are parts that make no sense at all that have been dropped in like an homage to Trainspotting, the sound mixing is terrible and being Glaswegian I can assure you none of the cast sound like us. The annoying thing about it though is it's a really boring movie. There's no substance to this other than the soundtrack which, as you'd expect, is brilliant.

Jan 7, 2024That was bloody awful, and I'm a huge fan of Creation Records. There were a few funny lines but overall it felt like a Saturday Night Live movie that was derived from a moderately funny skit that shouldn't have been made. It was meandering and was incredibly hard to understand what was being said half the time. I almost turned it off with 45 minutes left, and in hindsight wish I did.
