Dec 24, 2024This film cost at least a few million dollars. It's not like it was a high school film project, so people had to discuss this in some sort of serious manner. You have to wonder on the scripts Hollywood passes on if something this horrible is green-lighted. There is so little to this film that it doesn't even merit a review. It would have made a mediocre 30 minute TV episode; as a feature it is a complete disaster.

Dec 24, 2024At the bottom it's asking me if I am revealing any spoilers? Let me tell you I really wish I had a spoiler to reveal, like in ending. I was pleasantly surprised by William Fitchners character. He is usually the rogue FBI guy or the bad guy etc. etc. but in this movie he was very mild mannered very shy very meek I have never seen this side to him before. I loved this part for him and he played it beautifully. What I didn't like was not knowing what happened after he sat down and looked at his tomato. I didn't know If he was suicidal I didn't know if he was going to go back to the house and say hey I was defending myself or if his wife was going to come in and be the wife that she is or the Alex blah blah blah or if The car salesman was going to possibly show up in a skirt with a wig because you know he can pull that off really well. I'm just angry because I'm sick and tired of movies that don't have an ending to them or an ending that makes any sense William Fechner, You are awesome you played your part beautifully it was really nice to see you as a good guy🐾💕

Dec 24, 2024A mindful, slow-paced (I would also say perfectly-paced) film with outstanding acting from William Fichtner, who draws out a very empathetic character with subtle shades of emotions in the main role. If Rectify is your kind of series, then this is probably your kind of film, sharing at least something of its bittersweet, yearning feel and sensitivity. The 'Danger lives next door' line used in the advertising perhaps suggests an altogether more action-led plot and possibly does not attract the appropriate audience for the reflective kind of film that it is. Music is used very sparsely and very fittingly.

Dec 24, 2024Well, I've put that this review contains spoilers! Well people, the spoiler is that there is no story at all. An extreeeeemly boring film with William Fichtner acting like he has a stiff neck. The storyline was non-existent. I thought things were going to hot up in the final 8th minute or so, but only for about 2 seconds and then it went to boring again. Steer away people.
