May 23, 2023I was lucky enough to see The Scarehouse at the recent NYC Horror Film Festival and I really liked the film. Mainly because it's a female-centric horror film (which you don't see very often.) I love that the concept had an 80's feel to it. The movie reminded me of films like 1981's The Funhouse. I thought the movie was shot well and had an interesting structure to the storytelling with the incorporation of flashbacks. I loved the acting performances by the large female cast especially the female villains of the piece. Overall, I was very impressed by The Scarehouse and if you get a chance to see it, it's definitely worth your while.

May 23, 2023This movie was worst. I was looking forward to this movie. Was disappointed . The movies lost the plot, was poorly written and directed. Cool judo Lisa was the best part of the movie. This movie was a poor representation of females. I really couldn't get behind this movie, the character were not realistic at all, I just wanted it to end . This is trying to be a gore fest chick killer flick, it's not. It was trying to be too much and ending up coming up short. There are much better movies out there, don't waste your time. No substance, no class . Would have thought better from Windsor .

May 23, 2023I was so happy to finally get to see The Scarehouse and it didn't disappoint. I am a huge fan of horror and loved having the opportunity to see the women be the ones kicking butt. The movie is very graphic! But they don't dwell on it - which almost makes it creepier. The two leads are so nonchalant about committing horrible acts of violence which just proves they have a few screws loose and makes them more terrifying. All of the women in this movie are just wonderful. But the two leads (Sarah Booth and Kimberly-Sue Murray) really take home the prize for their performances. This is a quick paced fun ride. And Booth and Murray have you in shock at every twist and turn. Definitely not for the faint of heart!
