Apr 15, 2024I love the cinematography and directing in this movie. The choice of making the movie so quiet most of the time is a great artistic touch and contributes greatly to the overall atmosphere. It makes consuming the movie much easier too. And Anna Yamada really steals this movie for me. She's always great. She commands most of scenes she's in with just her eyes alone. I thought at first that the male lead was kinda bland and, almost pathetic at first, but I came to like him during the tail end of the movie, so that's quite nice. And that confession scene at the end tho, that was wild. Overall If you like highschool love drama that's not too over the top, or you like GL, give this one a try.
