A certain point in time, in the continent of Telesis. The great war which divided the continent into North and South has ended after four years, and the people are welcoming a new generation. Violet Evergarden, a young girl formerly known as “the weapon”, has left the battlefield to start a new life at CH Postal Service. There, she is deeply moved by the work of “Auto Memories Dolls”, who carry people's thoughts and convert them into words. Violet begins her journey as an Auto Memories Doll, and comes face to face with various people's emotions and differing shapes of love. There are words Violet heard on the battlefield, which she cannot forget. These words were given to her by someone she holds dear, more than anyone else. Violet Evergarden is the most beautiful drama anime i have ever watched. Everything about it has been given effort and love. The story of Violet Evergarden is interesting, it starts post-war in the 1900s, the plot revolves around Violet, an expressionless and unstable young girl who survived the war as a child soldier. She searches the meaning of the words of someone who has cared about her. The story goes on with her as she begins to realize that she is a person who can decide and express her emotions. The visuals are stunning It's obvious how the studio took the animation seriously, and the details they put in the places and Violets Prosthetic hands. The music is amazing, they fit the scenarios so much. For me, the anime does well with capturing emotions with each episodes bringing new experiences to violet, also making her learn something in the end. I would recommend this anime, but the start is slow but the later episodes become worth the time! This is my opinion!
